Playing today ... Stato I

Stato I is part of a selection of tracks that were created in 2004-2005 in the spirit of the original electronic- and digital breakbeat-driven Fragment King recordings. It was also created under the influence of Science Fiction and, in particular, the Perry Rhodan series. Specifically, the title refers to the control planet of the intergalactic SWARM structure created by the Cosmocrats to distribute intelligence throughout the universe – Stato I.

Critical Void is an analytical audio work based on an urbanist study of the MaximiliansForum in Munich and its planning history. By employing interviews with key individuals and document research, Z‘EV, Alexandra von Bolz'n and Mark Kammerbauer developed a site-specific audio performance and work that was performed live on site on 24.07.2013. FRAGMENT KING 25TH ANNIVERSARY

On the occasion of the the 25th anniversary of Fragment King, Nexialist is releasing three special compilations spanning recordings created and released between 1997 and 2014. In 1997, Fragment King recorded the "Demo That Exploded" and the adventure in speculative audible environments began. Above Us (FK 25th Anniversary Edition) features recordings written and produced during 2007 and 2010 within the Angel Position sessions in Weimar and Berlin. Furnace Lodge (FK 25th Anniversary Edition) includes tracks created during 2002 and 2007 predominantly within the Pathomechanical, Anatomic Music and Grey Album sessions in Ridgewood/USA, Weimar/Germany and Berlin/Germany.
