Playing today ... Mechanica

Mechanica is another Perry Rhodan-inspired recording from the Fragment King 2000 production era mostly comprised of electronic, upbeat, drum-n-bass influenced tracks.

Original liner notes: dream flesh twitches as the bleep people manipulate their switchboards. open canals of time. a room with no interior, pictures on the wall substituting for missing objects inside. the sound of a girl laughing on tape, her image projected on the wall from a slide. now we are in dream-synch. gravity turns around, the world folds.

The title is a reference to PERRY RHODAN issue 120 (covers taken from Perrypedia.de and RP49.de).

Critical Void is an analytical audio work based on an urbanist study of the MaximiliansForum in Munich and its planning history. FRAGMENT KING 25TH ANNIVERSARY

On the occasion of the the 25th anniversary of Fragment King, Nexialist is releasing three special compilations spanning recordings created and released between 1997 and 2014. In 1997, Fragment King recorded the "Demo That Exploded" and the adventure in speculative audible environments began. Above Us (FK 25th Anniversary Edition) features recordings written and produced during 2007 and 2010 within the Angel Position sessions in Weimar and Berlin. Furnace Lodge (FK 25th Anniversary Edition) includes tracks created during 2002 and 2007 predominantly within the Pathomechanical, Anatomic Music and Grey Album sessions in Ridgewood/USA, Weimar/Germany and Berlin/Germany.
