Fragment King Live at Border 1997-04-04

20 years ago to this day I played the first Fragment King live set. It consisted of a mix of my own material (I had my PC along) and spinning records between my tracks. When I studied architecture, I became interested in “designing” music with a computer, composing acoustic events separated by time in relation to physical objects separated by space. From ambience to digital grindcore to breakbeats it spanned the FK vocabulary at the time. It would take four years before I would perform live again in NYC.
